Findings revealed that the parents experienced feelings of fear, confusion, and uncertainty upon receiving the diagnosis. Despite these emotional challenges, participants demonstrated resilience as they gradually embraced acceptance and restructured their daily routines to meet their child{92}s needs. The study highlighted that financial strain, behavioral management, and limited access to autism-specific service in the city were among the most significant stressors. However, parents also identified personal growth, strengthened familial bonds, and the development of patience and empathy as meaningful outcomes of their experiences. Moreover, the result underscored the critical role of support systems such as local parent organizations, community groups, and selected therapy centers- in fostering encouragement and providing access to reliable information. Participants emphasized that awareness, inclusion and sustained support from the community and local government units remain essential for improving the lives of children with autism and their families. Overall, the study offers valuable insight into the realities of raising a child with autism in an urban Filipino setting and underscores the importance of inclusive practice, strengthened community resources, and responsive social support for families navigating similar circumstances. aautisms. alived experiences. aparental journey. asupport system. ainclusion Parañaque City. aBacolcol, Juliana May aBalquen, Jeremy A. aJamelo, Dustin Diego aMayor, Leywin
