High expectations exist for MAPEH teachers{92} dance proficiency, reflecting the importance of dance skills and effective instruction. Utilizing a quantitative method with structured survey questionnaires, the research assessed teachers{92} self-reported abilities in agility, balance, coordination, power, reaction time, and speed, as well their integration of dance into their teaching practices. The study, grounded in Rudolf Laban{92}s movement theory, identified prevalent challenges faced by teachers, including limitations in flexibility, rhythm, and confidence, as well as constraints related to prior training and classroom environment. Findings revealed generally acceptable to good body coordination proficiency, but highlighted the need for targeted in-service training to improve dance skills and address identified challenges. The study concludes with recommendations for a comprehensive training program designed to enhance teachers{92} skills, confidence, and ultimately the quality of dance instruction provided to students ER -
