Pardo.  -- Parañaque City:  Olivarez College,  2024. <br/><br/>Undergraduate thesis. <br/><br/> In an era influenced by technology, social media platforms have emerged as influential shapers of societal expectations and perceptions, particularly regarding gender roles and expressions. This study delves into the relationship between social media representation of masculinity and their influence on the male candidates of Mister and Miss Olivarez College 2024 at Olivarez College in Paranaque City. The researchers also executed the implementation of the Self-Identity Mental Health Program to evaluate its effectiveness centering on the participants. It specifically aims to understand how these representations reinforce masculine stereotypes and, importantly, how a self-identity program can positively increase the participants perception of masculinity.                          The findings of this research were essential in understanding the implications of social media representation on masculinity, particularly for the male candidates for Mister and Miss Olivarez College 2024. The Self-Identity Mental Health Program Offers an innovative approach to increase and improve mental well-being among the candidates by empowering them to challenge and redefine their self-concept, improving their self-esteem in an environment marked by complex and influential media portrayals, in support of the gathered literature of the study.                            This study contributed to the evolving importance of the role of social media in shaping perceptions of masculinity and underscore the importance of specifically tailored intervention strategies that promote positive self-identity and self-esteem, along with mental health, among individuals, such as the male candidates of Mister and Miss Olivarez College 2024.
