There are many books in ethics or moral Philosophy, but there is a paucity of references in axiology, specifically values education, especially one written for Filipinos with the Filipino frame of mind and idiosyncrasies as the basic spectrum. this modest volume is intended to answer a felt need. The is the need of the Filipino student to have a material that would explain the essentials of values education in the simplest, yet understandable, manner. We tried to show the state-of-the-art of values education,compare and contrast various theories, and show some relevant findings of researchers in values education and values oriention.
