N2  - Unintended pregnancies are pregnancies that are mistimed, unplanned or unwanted at the time of conception. It is among the most troubling public health problems and a major reproductive health issue including accidental pregnancy and defined as a pregnancy that was undesired for one or both of the parents. It is both frequent and widespread in the Philippines. According to the most recent National Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS, 2017) from the Department of Health (DOH), is that almost 9% of women aged 15 to 19 have already started childbearing. This phenomenological qualitative study aims to explore the lived experiences and their life before and after giving birth encountered by teenagers residing within the area of Metro Manila. The co-researchers' ages ranged between 13 to 19. The researchers used the purposive sampling technique to identify the characteristics of the co-researchers and snowball sampling technique whereas the existing co-researchers were recruited from among acquaintances and gathered information by using a structured interview. Thematic analysis was employed to extract and identify the common themes between each co-researcher. For the experiences, the essential themes are aspiration, struggles, family support, and regrets. Thus, making this study adds literature to the body of knowledge related to the before and after lives of teenage mothers in the Philippines. Finally, this study is beneficial to teenage mothers, teenagers, and society
