The study made use of the correlation-quantitative method and utilized Likert's concept on four types of management systems. The instrument used to measure the head nurses management style was formulated based on Rensis Likert's four types of management systems. On the other hand, the instrument used to evaluate the staff nurses' performance was based on the job description of staff nurses. The data gathered in this study was interpreted using frequencies and percentages, and weighted mean. Chi-square distribution was used to find the relationship between the management style used by head nurses and its relationship to staff nurses performance. Results of the study revealed that the head nurses agreed that their staff nurses were performing their job accordingly with a weighted mean of 4.47 which means that they frequently exceed expectation. Participative management style was mostly used by the head nurses. The researcher found out that there was no relationship between the management styles used by head nurses with the staff nurses' role performance ER -
