Master Thesis

This study attempted to determine the Value Development and Values Perception of High School Students in Pasay City North High School, School Year 2001-2002. Specifically, it sought to answer the following questions: 1. What is the profile of the student-respondents with respect to: c. year level; and b. gender; d. religion? 2. What is the level of values as perceived by the student-respondents in terms a. age; a. gender; b. year level? 3. What is the level of value development of high school students in terms of fairness and honesty, self-discipline, and social responsibility? 4. What is the extent of values as perceived by the high school students in relation to the following core values: a. health; b. truth; c. love; d. spirituality; Hypothesis: 5. Is there a significant difference on the value development and values perception of the high school students in terms of of the data. a. age; c. social responsibility; f. economic efficiency; g. nationalism; and h. global solidarity? of the high school students as to their: b. year level? There is no significant difference on the value development and values perception a. gender b. year level The descriptive normative survey was used by the researcher in gathering data. A questionnaire was administered to the 328 respondents to determine the value development and values perception of high school students of Pasay City North High School. The frequency, percentage, weighted mean and t-test were used in the treatment
