This research explored the status of students and the situation in Don Bosco Technology College Phuoc Loc, in Viet Nam during the school year 2018-2019 to determine if there was a need to put up a guidance program in this school. It involved three groups of respondents: 268 Students, 15 Administrators and Non-Teaching Staff (Admin & Staff), and 40 Faculty. This study used a quantitative descriptive survey research. While students' records served as data on students' status, self-made questionnaires were used for survey on the need for guidance program. Treatment of the data was done statistically by using frequency, percentage, and mean; Analysis of Variance was used. It was found that majority of the student respondents were doing well in their formation. The three groups of respondents strongly agreed that there was a need for guidance program. Meanwhile, they gave their answers on foreseen challenges in establishing guidance program as Moderately Serious. Furthermore, Admin & Staff and Faculty respondents perceived the school's readiness for putting up this program as Moderately Ready. Since there was a need for guidance program and with moderately ready of the school, the school would be able to materialize this program by taking efforts to meet foreseen challenges.
