Inclusive education and its impact to stakeholders: basis for sustained implementation/ Josephine S. De Ocampo. Parañaque City: Olivarez College, 2019. Master Thesis The main objective of the study was to investigate the implementation of Inclusive Education (IE) in the Division of Las Piñas City. The approach to the study was quantitative descriptive using survey questionnaire among 7 SPED teachers, 110 Inclusive Education teachers, and 85 parents of IE learners, with a total of 202 respondents. Weighted mean and one-way ANOVA were utilized for statistical treatment of data. The study revealed that Inclusive Education is successful in the Division of Las Piñas City considering the objectives, learning facilitators, curriculum, learning environment, and support system. The three groups of respondents have almost similar perceptions on the effectiveness of Inclusive Education. It is also perceived to be having gains, such as student opportunity, life skills, and teachers' professional growth. However, there are still very serious challenges concerning parental and administrative support, community awareness and participation, difficulty in learning the lessons, and adequacy of appropriate learning materials. The study recommends that Inclusive Education implementation should be sustained by continuously adhering to its objectives, enhancing the competence of teachers, providing the teachers' instructional needs, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment, and fostering support.
