Statements of the problem were proposed namely (1) what is the profile of the respondents in terms of age and gender?, (2) what is the rating of the respondents ion the psychosocial exam?, (3) what is the rating of the respondents in the personality exam, and, (4) what is the relationship between personality and psychosocial behaviors? The null and alternative hypotheses were stated as (1) there is no relationship between the personality and psychosocial adjustment among hypertensive patients. This study utilized quantitative type of research Quartative refers to tmeasurement and analysis of causal relationships between variates particular point in time. Specifically, the study uses a descriptive correlational type of research meaning that researchers were interested in describing relationships among variables, without seeking to establish causal connections. The researchers utilized a structured interview tool composed of close-ended questions which aided in the data gathering procedure. Survey was used as a primary instrument. Survey research investigates a universe of phenomena-population to discover the relative incidence, distribution and interrelation of variables. Based on the data gathered from their locale, it was proven that: (1) there are 60.4% or more than half of the population of the respondents belong to the peak years of having hypertension which is from 30 to late 40's, (2) furthermore, the study showed that male respondents are highly susceptible to having hypertension than female respondents, (3) that almost half of the populations were able to manage and adjust psychologically and socially during the course of their disease., (4)most of the respondents are extroverts, and (5)it also showed that respondents with extrovert type of personality are more adjusted to their current illness than those with introvert type of personality. Upon computation using the Chi Square, the null hypothesis was rejected and the alternative hypothesis was accepted. Based on the conclusion, the researchers recommend that, (1) findings of the study to be used as tools for evaluating how hypertensive patients comply with their daily regimen (e.g., adhering to their medications, lifestyle modification and diet) by understanding the way they think and act, and how certain changes in life affect them, (2) that knowledge about the patient's personality be a good working vital tool for health care professionals on how they approach and make an effective regimen plan for hypertensive patients while sustaining their existing social relations and lastly, (3) that health teachings in all Barangay Health Centers of Parañaque which would be concerning the management of hypertension.
