This study will answer the following question, what is the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of, age, gender, number of household member, income, educational attainment. What is the awareness of the respondents about the cheaper medicine bill (R.A9502) in terms of, provision, cost, implementation, advantage, and disadvantage. What are the possible recommendations based on the findings of the study for information dissemination program. The researchers used descriptive method, which is according to Polit and Beck (2006), a systematic investigation of relationship between two or more variables. The problems of this study were answered through the use of information or data. In this regard, the researchers used a ready made questionnaire. CONCLUSION Based on our study the following conclusion were, (1) The demographic profile of the respondents in terms of age showed that there were 11 ages from 20-30 years old, 10 ages from 31-40 years old, and 13 ages from 41-50 years old and 16 ages from 51 years old and above, (1.2) The demographic profile of the respondents in terms of gender showed that there were sixty (60) percent out of one hundred (100) percent were female. Only forty (40) percent were male, (1.3) The number of household members of the respondents showed that there were 30 families that had 1-5 family members, 17 families had 6-10 family members and only three families had 11 and above family members, (1.4) The Status of the family income of the Sitio Sto. Niño Barangay San Dionisio respondent's showed that the majority of the respondents had a monthly income that ranged from P1, 000-5,000 and only one respondent had a monthly income of P10, 100 and above, (1.5) In terms of educational attainment of the residents in Sitio Sto. Niño, Barangay San Dionisio. Out of fifty (50) respondents there were twelve (12%) percent elementary graduate, sixty two (62%) percent high school graduate and only thirteen (1.3%) percent had finished College. (2) The awareness of the respondents in terms of the provision of the law, based on our evaluation thirty 30 (60%) respondents were aware on Cheaper Medicine Bill and twenty 20 (40%) respondents were not. Majority of respondents learn about this law from the television. Sixty (60%) of the respondents knew that the prices of medicine were reduced because of this law, (2.2) The awareness of the respondents in terms of the cost of the law, all the respondents were buying medicines through generic drugs because of the cheaper price. Forty one (41) respondents knew that the prices of medicine were reduced because of Cheaper Medicine Bill. Eighty two percent (82%) of the respondents had felt the effect of this law, (2.3) The awareness of the respondents in terms of the implementation of the law, out of one hundred percent eighty six percent had experienced buying medicine through Cheaper Medicine Bill. Thirty five of the respondents perceived that the drugstores complied with this law and only fifteen respondents did not. Based on our evaluation, forty respondents believed that the consumers benefit from this law. One hundred percent of the respondents were happy in passing the Cheaper Medicine Bill, (2.4) Regarding the awareness of the respondents in terms of the advantage of the law, one hundred percent of the respondents believed that Cheaper Medicine Bill had advantages on the Filipino people, (2.5) The awareness of the respondents in terms of the disadvantage of the law, twenty one (21) of the respondents believed that the Cheaper Medicine Bill had disadvantages, however, fifty eight percent (58) believed that Cheaper Medicine Bill had no disadvantages. RECOMMENDATION Based on the findings and conclusions of this study, the following recommendations are hereby given. The local government should implement a program about Cheaper Medicine Bill (R.A 9502) to educate the Filipino people about this law for them to be aware of, the local government should monitor the suggested retail price on every drugstore, all the drugstores should comply with the provisions of the Cheaper Medicine Bill (R.A 9502), the Local government should improve their advertisement of the Cheaper Medicine Bill, (R.A. 9502) on the television, radio, and print media.
