Dissertation note: Undergraduate Summary: The study sought to identify the microbes that are present on aprons and uniforms of the third and fourth year nursing students at Hospital X. The study was made in school year 2013-2014 with spade work which began in December 2013. The actual culture sensitivity tests were conducted during the 4th week of May 2013 after the proponent was granted approval for their study on March 22, 2013. Specifically, the study answered the following sub-problems: 1. What are the organisms can be found in the apron and uniforms before clinical exposure? 2. What are the organisms can be found in aprons and uniforms after 8 hours of clinical exposure? 3. Is there a common difference between the presence of microorganisms on aprons and uniforms before and after 8 hours of clinical exposure?
