520 _aThe COVID-19 epidemic prompted a tremendous shift in how education was given throughout the world's educational system. Initially, due to the lockdown, the education centers were forced to close, and the instruction was moved to online platforms, which increased the use of the blended learning modality. Students gradually moved back to face-to-face instruction and partially returned to the desired "normality." Learners gave rise to the blended learning (BL) teaching approach, which mixes in-person and any modality techniques. The study's objective was to determine the problems encountered by the learners in adaptability and transition mechanism in blended learning. This study was an explanatory mixed method research design where both quantitative and qualitative research, with a close-ended questionnaire and in-depth interview for the Grade 11 and Grade 12 learners of selected public schools in Amadeo used to gather the information that answered the statement of the problem. There were 90 learners for quantitative data and 10 for qualitative data. This aimed to improve the adaptability and transition mechanism of the learners. The proposed intervention plan in this study may help improve the problem encountered. A four-point Likert Scale was used. This study used this four-point scale to measure the Adaptability and Transition Mechanism level of blended learning of Senior High students. This implies that blended learning is not fully adapted and not fully transitioned. The result shows that the majority of the respondent's level of adaptability of senior high school students on blended learning was given a rating of likely to adapt as computed in the mean distribution of adaptability level and the transition mechanism of senior high school students on blended learning was rated as a high transition at the calculated mean. This means most learner respondents still needed to fully adapt and fully transition into blended learning during a pandemic. On the other hand, the depth-interview was used to determine the problem and challenges encountered. Also, lend to support a recommendation for the intervention to improve the existing blended learning.
