Data from 51 OFWS working at the American School of Doha were collected through online surveys and analyzed using ANOVA and Pearson r. The findings reveal a demographic profile of primarily 36-45-year-olds, mostly female, with Bachelor's degrees, monthly earnings ranging from 6,001 to 10,000 Qatari Riyals, and 1 to 5 years of work experience. While participants exhibit assertive financial behavior and capability, their financial knowledge and ability to make informed investment decisions are significantly lower, especially in investment behavior, risk management, and financial planning. Significant factors influencing financial literacy include gender, educational level, and monthly income, while age and job tenure show no significant associations. Similarly, factors influencing the ability to make informed investment decisions include age, sex, educational level, and monthly income, except for job tenure. However, there's a low positive and statistically insignificant correlation between financial literacy and the ability to make informed investment decisions across demographics. Targeted financial literacy interventions are recommended, suggesting alignment of office-based companies' Strategic Investment programs to enhance financial literacy and enable well-informed investment decisions among OFWS in Qatar's office sector. | ||
