It creates a strong magnetic field and radio waves that include multiple sequences and creates an acoustic loud noise. The loud noise can be stressful for patients, and it causes anxiety for them. The study measured the level of anxiety experienced among patients who have undergone an MRI examination. To achieve the objectives, the study used descriptive and purposive sampling because the researchers determined the level of anxiety who had undergone an MRI examination. The respondents of this research were patients who had undergone an MRI examination in selected hospitals in Metro Manila. Fifty respondents willingly participated in this study. The study revealed that most of the respondents belong to 21-25 years old when it comes to gender, most of the respondents were male. The respondentsÂ’ results on the level of anxiety during their MRI examination perceived themselves to have gained an anxious result with an overall weighted mean of 2.77. The result on the level of patient care management on acoustic loud noise during an MRI examination had a weighted mean of 3.29 and gained a high on the results. The level of anxiety of acoustic loud noise during the exam when grouped according to the demographic profiles in terms of gender and age showed a significant relationship between the variables that it has an effect differently on their gender and age. There was a significant relationship between the level of anxiety on acoustic loud noise that influences patients even though there is patient care management applied by the MRI technologists during an MRI examination. | ||
