520 _aThis research aims to discuss the lived experiences that focuses on the abuses of the Golden Gay where it delves into aspects such as factors, onset, and kinds of abuses from their younger years. There are existing studies discussing the abuses and discrimination experienced by members of the LGBTQ+ community, nonetheless, there are lack of further studies about the experiences of elderly gays. There is an assumption that the elderly gays experience poor quality of life due to a new insight in the research field, especially in the world of psychology that may help future researchers to explore other gender orientations facing circumstances alike and promote more programs advocating gender equality, ending gender-based violence and discrimination in a modern society where stigma is still evident. The researcher{92}s output is a combination of social media platform entitled {93}Kefi LGBT Society{94}, with an infomercial entitled {93}Kung tinanggap lang ako,{94} to promote awareness regarding the issues faced by our elderly gays from their younger years and acknowledging a form of care approach to help such individuals cope.
