520 _aCompassion aims to mitigate distress and offer sympathy in the approaching death period. Notwithstanding numerous hurdles, nurses must keep their coolness and sanity, which requires emotional and professional resilience. This research examines experiences of and resilience among oncology nurses with a view of understanding their mechanisms for coping as well as the necessary support they require. For this research, a qualitative research design was used to explore oncology nurses{92} life experiences of emotional resilience. Purposive sampling was employed from six registered nurses in South Metro Manila who represented various demographic characteristics and work settings. The study investigated how emotional intelligence affects palliative care service provision in a hospital setting. Data was collected with the help of audiotaped interviews approved by hospitals for each of the studies conducted by the researchers. With regards to findings into nursing resilience and its impact on end-of-life care, Colaizzi{92}s Descriptive Phenomenological Method ensured thorough analysis of data to obtain information about coping strategies used by nurses in stressful situations within the medical field. Based on the findings, the significance of personal traits such as empathy, compassion, resilience, and emotional intelligence for oncology nurses providing end-of-life care. This means a nurse with such qualities will improve problem-solving and remain well despite challenges. It has also been identified that support and practical cooperation in the work environment are essential for a nurse to be resilient, thus underscoring teamwork, communication, and an enabling atmosphere. These nurses are adaptable and open to learning to improve patient care strategies according to evolving needs. Therefore, it involves doing things like finding social connections, caring for themselves first before others do it for them, and seeking counseling or training services since they use various ways, including making contact with other people when experiencing difficulties.
