The research aims to explore the effects of ROTC participation on college students{92} leadership development and demographic differences in these outcomes. Additionally, it seeks to evaluate the perceived influence of the ROTC program on leadership development among students. The study employed quantitative research design with a descriptive approach, utilizing survey questionnaires as the primary data collection instrument. Data analysis involved statistical tools such as percentage, weighted mean, t-test, correlation coefficient, and a chi-square test of independence. Results indicate that non-ROTC participants tended to perceive the ROTC program as having a greater impact on leadership development compared to actual participants. While ROTC participants emphasized leadership skills like decision-making and adaptability, non-ROTC participants valued the program{92}s role in fostering discipline and responsibility. The study concludes that the ROTC program effectively instills discipline, responsibility, and leadership qualities among participants. The findings have implications for encouraging student participation in the ROTC program and enhancing its effectiveness in developing future leaders. | ||
