520 _a The transition from face-to-face to online and to a hybrid learning environment requires major adjustments from students as well as teachers. As a result, teachers were compelled to use new pedagogies in order to deliver instruction using hybrid modalities. Hybrid modality composed of online and face-to-face modes. Due to this, various challenge arise when putting this into practice, especially when it comes to teaching team sport, since the basis of teaching team sports, since the basic of teaching team sport promotes cooperation and teamwork, which should be physically performed. It is important to teach team sports as it promotes student{92}s enthusiasm for playing their preferred sport and help them acquire good sportsmanship. Thus, this qualitative study determined the challenges and solutions of 10 physical education teachers in Paranaque City in teaching team sports utilizing the hybrid learning modality. Through the use of Social Cognitive Theory by Albert Bandura (1986), the variables were categorized as personal environmental, and behavioral. As research utilized narrative and thematic analysis, the findings found the 4 themes indicated their subtheme: personal challenges (technical difficulties and skepticism in online physical education); behavior challenges (adjustment to new pedagogy); environmental challenges (limited facilities and equipment, problematic scheduling of facilities, and lack of student{92}s necessities); and solutions in teaching team sports through hybrid modality (personal solutions, behavioral solutions, and environmental solutions. These challenges have been discussed in other studies, and physical education teachers are still dealing with the same dilemma currently. Despite the fact that physical education teachers developed various solutions to overcome the difficulties they faced in teaching team sports through hybrid modality, the majority of them still opposed fully implementing this. Thus, this study provides recommendations based on findings to become more aware, effective, and efficient in teaching team sports through the use of a hybrid modality.
