| 520 | _aMillennials have rapidly become the most dominant generation in the workplace. In health care, millennial nurses make up one-third of the nursing workforce. The present study looked into the caring behavior of millennial nurses in selected hospitals in Paranaque City as they evaluate themselves, which was used as the basis for a protective professional environment. The researchers used a quantitative approach to test the hypothesis of the study and used descriptive statistics to analyze the collected data. A standardized survey questionnaire from another study authored by Decosto (2011), tagged as the {91}Caring Behavior Assessment Tool{92}, was used in the study. This research utilized a total sampling technique; the chosen participants of the study were millennial nurses in selected private and government hospitals in Paranaque City. A total of 179 millennial nurses are the selected participants in this study. This study conducted that millennial nurses always exhibit caring behaviors when rendering nursing services to patient. They perceived caring behavior in clinical settings in accordance with Simone Roach{92}s 5 C{92}s of Caring as having competence, conscience, confidence, commitment, and compassion, with competence, conscience, and confidence being the highest and commitment and compassion being the least caring behaviors. Furthermore, the study also determined that millennial nurses have different perspective when it comes to caring behavior. | ||
