This study examined the effect of employment on the academic performance of 20 BSA working students for S.Y. 2024-2025. Survey results showed that most participants were aged 18-21, with a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 1.50, enrolled in 24-30 units, and working full-time. Employment moderately affected class performance and study habits, while having a low effect on attendance and time management. Differences in study habits by sex were noted, with male students reporting lower study habit ratings. Positive relationships were found between learning styles, study habits, and time management. Employment has a moderate effect on academic performance, especially in class performance and study habits. Female students showed stronger study habits, indicating a need for additional support for male students. The links between learning styles, study habits, and time management highlight the benefits of using flexible learning strategies. This study suggests developing study programs that fit different learning styles, providing time management workshops, encouraging flexible working schedules, and expanding support services like tutoring and counseling. Regular performance assessments for working students are also recommended, with further studies suggested to look into additional factors affecting their academic success. | ||
