This has been manifested in some ways and means the Department ofEducation, Culture and Sports has adopted like increasing the number of pupil contracttime by extending the school calendar from 185 to not more than 220 class days,establishment of fifteen (15) regional science high schools and administration of theNational Elementary Achievement Test (NEAT) and the National Secondary AssessmentTest (NSAT) nationwide to mention a few.
