520			_aThe protection, promotion and support of breastfeeding have now become a major international priority as emphasized in the Global Strategy for Infant and Young Child Feeding which is a joint developed by World Health Organization (WHO) and United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). The researchers used the behavioral system model. It is based on pre- existent body of knowledge to develop over years by a number of disciplines. This is done by focusing of the knowledge and practices of individual. The researchers conclude that low monthly income does not stop the Barangay Health Workers (BHW) in teaching about infant breastfeeding.
