520 _a The corona pandemic changed the normal way of living of the people in the world and also affected the education system, but this pandemic is not a hindrance in pursuing the dream career of every student. The purpose of this research is to determine the effects of the CoVid-19 pandemic on the factors that influence the selection of BSA as the degree program of the students. The research method used in this study was a Descriptive Quantitative Research design and 24 respondents were selected, particularly first-year Accountancy students of Olivarez College - Parañaque for the second semester of SY 2020-2021. The Frequency, Mean, ANOVA, and Pearson R methods were used as data analysis instruments. The findings showed that the majority of the students are female, 19 years of age, and have a GWA of 1.50 in their Senior High School. The career opportunities factor moderately influenced the student's decision in choosing BSA as their degree program. Also, the cost and benefit moderately influenced the factors that perceive the effects of the corona pandemic upon taking the degree of BSA. It also showed that the profile variables of the respondents have no significant difference in the assessed factors in choosing BSA as the degree program of the students. And, the effects of the corona pandemic have a significant relationship with the assessed factors of the student's decision. This study concluded that the more the respondents feel the impact of the corona pandemic concerning the costs and benefits of choosing Accountancy as a degree program, the more their decisions are being affected by their personal strengths and weaknesses, family's financial status, and career opportunities. This study also aims to provide a plan that can be used to make students consider Accounting as their degree program.
