It is universally accepted that there is something magnetic, totally captivating, about physical activity. It pleases and it challenges. It excites and it satisfies. Physical activity entices all of us: young and old, wealthy andpoor, educated and uneducated. Best of all, we are increasinglybecoming participant rather than just observers. More and moreFilipinos are regularly enjoying exercise, sports, and play. To be activeis not only healthful, but also promotes strength of self and spirit. With this universal appeal, it is no wonder at all that there is anarea of academic, scientific and philosophical inquiry which has focusedon human physical activity - Physical Education. This recognized psychological theory would attest that humanbeings arenot only fascinated by physical activity, but also thatthey can learn through movement. Physical movement can offer experiences that are not otherwise obtainable, providing unique opportunity for learning.
