As a result of theirrising expectancy in better meeting the demands of modern living, the need for and use ofreading has increased notably. In the school system, the ability to read has always been regarded the key toeffective learning. Access to various areas of knowledge is made possible throughreading. Therefore, a child who is greatly handicapped in reading is deprived of awonderful medium or tool of learning with which much of his formal education can beattained.
