Dissertation note: Master Thesis Summary: This study intended to develop an instructional material for Earth and Life Science for Senior High school grounded on Outcomes-based Education along spiral progression approach in science in the context of real life application. It adhered 5E's model of constructivism perspective essential for combining students' experiences with the new constructs of You sent meaningful learning. More so, various features and learning episodes depict this material. Hence, in order to ensure reliability and validity, the said output was subjected for validation to pool of evaluators that comprised experts, end - users and book writers using a set of standards and criteria intended there to as indicated in the tool. The researcher modified the prescribed competencies intended for the subject as he tailored fit such based on the learners need in the context of innovative technological trend. Upon undergoing series of procedures and processes, the material was considered valid in terms of its relevant objectives and content, suitability, adequacy and usefulness to the learners. Thus, the researcher recommends the material for utilization and upon doing such, further evaluation and long-term validation be done through considering the results of learning outcome of the users of the material that would depict its real essence, significance and effectiveness.
