Master Thesis
The study dealt with the assessment of the level of implementation of the Philippine Army Advance ROTC Cadets Incentive Program in Region 3. Its goal is to generate relevant and accurate baseline information on the rationalization of the Scholarship Incentive of Cadets during the Advance ROTC training period for possible considerations of the institutions drawn from the selected respondents themselves. These can be utilized in the preparation of Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAS) of the Advance Reserve Officers' Training Corps in the Basic education and higher institutions in the Philippines using the Cash Incentive Program. The researcher used quantitative methods of research resorting to the numerical analysis of data collected through questionnaires and surveys. Sis International Research cited that quantitative methods are a structured way of collecting and analyzing data obtained `from different sources, that involves the use of computational, statistical, and mathematical tools to derive results. Results showed that the majority of the respondents are classified as a younger generation, males, bachelor's degree holders, and newly in the service. The level of Implementation of the Philippine Army Advance ROTC Cadets Incentive Program rated implemented along policies and guidelines and qualifying criteria for advanced ROTC Cadets. On the other hand, fully implemented along with termination of incentive and restoration of incentive. Consequently, the assessments of two groups of respondents are not significant in all indicators. Furthermore, the respondents encountered six problems and proposed measures to address the problems. Through this, proposed action plans are provided to enhance Philippine Army Advance ROTC Cadets Incentive Program that includes strategies, funding, and key responsibility Areas in ROTC Management, Faculty qualification, experience, Rewards, and Extension projects.
