Master Thesis
This study intended to identify the least mastered competencies of the Grade 7 students in English that aims to develop a contextualized learning activity sheets that will serve as an intervention. It utilized quantitative descriptive method using pretest and posttest for the selected Grade 7 students of Tagaytay City Science National High School Integrated Senior High School and evaluation to verify the effectiveness of the developed materials. The results show that there are five least mastered that need to address. After analyzing, the score of the students in the post test is significantly higher than the pretest. This means that the developed learning activity sheets is effective for the students in increasing the mastery of skills needed. Thus, utilization of the activity sheets crafted is recommended in the entire section of Grade 7 level.
