Dissertation note: Master Thesis Summary: The main thrust of this study is to assess the role of Parents-Teachers and Community Association (PTCA) in the West District, Division of Pasay City, school year 2001-2002 which will be the gauge in improving the educational outputs through the assistance of PTCA's support and endeavors. Specifically, this study sought answers to the following 1. What is the profile of the respondents as regards to 1.1 age; 1.2 gender; 1.3 civil status; 1.4 highest educational attainment; and 1.5 length of service? 2. How do the respondents regard the Parents-Teachers and Community Association in relation to the following aspects: 2.1 PTCA objectives and purposes; 2.2 PTCA's role in the West Districts schools; and 2.3 school-community partnership? 3. What is the perception of the respondents as regard to the role of Parents-Teachers and Community Association in the school system? 4. What are the suggestions offered to improve the Parents- Teachers and Community Association? 5. What is the implication of the findings of this study to educational management?
