Master Thesis
The study was conducted to determine the academic pertformance of grade six pupils in English, Science, and Mathematics in Mary Immaculate School as basis for a proposed instructional development program. Specifically, the study tried to answer the following questions. 1. What was the profile of the pupil respondents in terms of: 1.1 Preschool completed; 1.2 Primary school attended 1.3 Educational Attainment of Parents; and 1.4 Family monthly income? 2. What was the profile of the teachers of Mary Immaculate School in terms of a. Gender You sent b. Age; c. Educational attainment/ specialization; d. Number of years teaching experience? 3. Based from the result of the National Achievement Test exams in English, Science and Mathematics, what is the academic performance of the grade six pupils? 4. Was there a significant mean difference between the pupils test scores in three subject areas and by each of the variables in sub-problems no 1? 5. Based from the findings of the study, what instructional development program can be proposed for Mary Immaculate School?
