Master Thesis
The study aimed to determine the extent of bullying in selected logistics service providers as basis for formulating reduction mechanism. This study utilized quantitative descriptive correlational method using survey questionnaire among ninety-one (91) respondents, who were identified victims of bullying from three (3) selected logistics companies, namely: Lifong Logistics, with 46; FedEx, with 27; and Air 2100, with 18, respectively. Data were treated using frequency, percentage, rank, weighted mean, correlation coefficient, and One Way ANOVA. Findings revealed that male employees are more likely to experience bullying in the workplace, especially the younger ones, and those who have low educational degree, and position in the company. Hence, bullying results to employees' dismal work performance. Thus, there is a need for bullying reduction mechanism to immediately respond and address such work-related issue.
