Dissertation note: Master Thesis Summary: This study endeavored to determine the creative and critical thinking experiences in science learning environment and its impact on holistic development of grade 8 students at T.S. Cruz High School, Las Piñas City with an end- view of designing a proposed enhancement program. This study utilized descriptive correlation method using a validated researcher-made questionnaire among one hundred sixty-two (162) grade 8 students from the said school. Frequency, percentage, weighted mean, rank and ANOVA were considered in statistically treating the gathered data. Results showed that students partially understood the concept of creative and critical thinking as evidenced by its obtained 2.76 WM. As such, assignment and research were the usual activities experienced by the students in class that brought about slight impact on the latter's cognitive, affective and psychomotor development skills. Therefore, it was found out that learners' understanding of the concept of creative and critical thinking, their learning experience and its impact are directly correlated. It was also revealed that efforts in class activities, teachers' behavior, clear directions of activities and interest and motivation issues impede creative and critical thinking development. Therefore, orientation, class monitoring and implementation of the proposed enhancement program are recommended to address related issues and concerns.
