Those Western influences have deeply rooted into our basically eastern culture that they rendered us today and probably forever, confused and/or a contradicting products of the West and the East. This is seen in our Ways, it in our thoughts, and in our social institutions. Our educational system, in particular, is greatly influenced as shown by series of major curricular innovations, enrichments, and redirections to be functional and to improve the quality of its outputs not only to meet local needs, standard and requirements but international as well. Despite all these efforts, the Survey on the Outcome of Elementary Education (SOUTELE) in 1975, glaringly revealed that Grade VI pupils'
